It's basically the same as the genesis version. I like it mostly because the first time I ever played it, it was on the 3DO. It feels like home.ryanofcali wrote:How is this one I've read good things about it, I've been playing a lot of street fighter II turbo and samurai shodown on the 3DO.puke_face wrote:I was just thinking the same thing the other day... where the hell is the new one? To get my fix I've played it on the 3DO a few times the last couple of weeks.

They desperately need to bring it back, but the game isn't big enough to be a $60 release. If it is, they probably did something very wrong.

Who would buy a new RR when you have the GTAs and Saint Rows with their arsenal of two-wheeled vehicles. Even the traditional racing games market has shrunk considerably thanks to the sandbox plague.

Re: Road Rash?
Very true, they would need something very big to change it up. Maybe a full blown multiplayer mode with leaderboards and the like. Racing against 15 other real opponents would make it hard as nails.Pulsar_t wrote:Who would buy a new RR when you have the GTAs and Saint Rows with their arsenal of two-wheeled vehicles. I would kill for an HD remake on Live or PS Network with these features. I use to waste many hours playing the originals on the Genesis with my friends when I was younger.DerekG52 wrote:Very true, they would need something very big to change it up. Re: Road Rash?
Had an idea this morning, what if they implemented a loot system where you can upgrade various parts of your bike and racer? The upgrade system they had before was linear where your bike was going to get better, but what if they had random mods, like increase speed % mod also comes with reduce durability?
