And Metal Slug 1 for GBA got delayed like 50 times 'til it eventually died. Bastards. All we got on GBA was a very time side story game with a life meter and no more than maybe 3 enemies on screen at once.

Good point -- but the GBA wasn't exactly made for Metal Slug (unless you are like Treasure and exploit the crap out of the hardware)

Awesome news! Now I really have to get myself a DS. Played Metal Slug 1 to 6, not to mention the GBA one and MS 3D, so this new game really is a must buy.

Can't wait for the first screens!

Wow, the DS sure is getting a lot of exclusive sequels, what with the new Dragon Quest, Contra, Bangai-O and now Metal Slug? Blimey.

Wow, first Contra 4, then Bangai-O Spirits, and now this? Man, my DS is going to be busted from overuse. :P
