I was at Big Lots (Odd Lots) today when i was on my break from work hoping to find a hidden treasure in the toy dept. When i saw that Big Lots now sells games. I went over to see if there was anything of worth on the rack. When I got over i saw it was all crap that your local Gamestop wouldn't even take as a trade in for a penny. Out of all the games on the rack my eye got glued onto this one.
"Cold Stone Creamery: Scoop it Up"? Has Nintendo lost their mind!? Why would i want to play a game that simulates the life of a minimum wage job? It seems to me that this is just one of many crappy games that Nintendo has authorized to be on the Wii system in the past 4 years and its just got to stop. Or else the Wii will become the most tainted video game system ever. Being a life long Nintendo fan and a hardcore gamer it just seems Nintendo keeps moving farther and farther away from the people who made them a household name in the first place.
Lifelong game obsession!
Atari 2600, Colecovision, NES, SNES, Nintendo 64, Nintendo Gamecube, Sega Saturn, Sega Dreamcast, PlayStation 2, Xbox 360

There's always the option NOT to play it, and ignore its existence.

Well then, being a life long Nintendo fan you should already know that each of their systems have TONS of crappy games... why should the Wii be any different?
in general, i think that nintendo has purposely gone away from those who made it a household name. when nintendo was made a "household name" video games were not nearly as popular as they are now. the Wii is made for the entire family, where as video games for the NES we're made for gamers( you could probably argue this and say that the technology was not there, or something like that). the Wii is made for everyone in a household, and a game like this might be appealing to a family who likes icecream (i guess). video games are way more wide spread than nintendos early years, so to me it makes sense that they might release some really rediculous games aimed at an "average" family.
Have you played it? This is like what, the fourth thread where a game or accesory came out for the Wii, not made by Nintendo, and its used as an excuse to talk bad about Nintendo. And for the last time I am tired of hearing the word "Hardcore". Just to clear it up what makes you a "Hardcore Gamer" since the definition changes all the time.
Every System has garbage released for it. Did you buy those Burger King games? At least the title and cover art aren't going to confuse you. You go to Gamestop and see all this awesome coverart, with cool titles and its terrible, kinda reminds my of 2600 game boxes, just cause the cover looks cool doesn't mean the game is good and vice-a-versa.

Probably more than four, but exactly what I was thinking.
