Re: My collection so far...
This is pic worthy.
My latest addition a complete Net Link Game Pack still sealed and $0.00 price tag. Lucked out and paid like $21.50 shipped. The bad news is the bastard seller just put it in a envelope...not even bubble wrap
You can see the results
Still happy I have it though!

Re: My collection so far...
i hate ebay sellers. i don't buy from ebay too often, but when i do it is usually not good.
long story short:
for christmas my mom bought me a lot which included: turbografx 16 + cd unit, 1 control pad, 1 arcade stick, multi-tap, all hook ups, and 5 games (all in jewel cases). the bitch crammed/torqued/forced everything into a flat rate shipping box. there was no packaging in the box because there was absolutely no room for it. the box was literally busting at the seams. the console was obviously DOA when we received it.
from the pictures, it doesn't look too bad though
so do you have every accessory for the saturn?

That really sucks about the TG16 & CD. Being a US stuff Saturn collector, I know many dumbasses think a bubble wrapped envelope is all you need to ship a game. You need to ship them boxed...any game for any system for that matter.
I think the seller envisioned retiring after selling the pack and was a little pissed it went so cheap...it really did go cheap. The games are common the packaging is what makes it kinda, sorta rare.
I think I have every accessory offered in North America except the NA VCD card (I have 2 JP versions). The Saturn disc drives were only offered in Japan and never made it over here. If one fell into my lap, I'd take it. It's not something I'm actively seeking though.

Re: My collection so far...
My ebay nightmare was a Japanese Saturn Virtua Stick complete with box- when it arrived, the seller used the original box as the shipping box! Covered it with a grocery bag and shipped it to me.
Re: My collection so far...
yeah,
i'm dealing with a total douche on ebay right now. I won an auction Saturday afternoon while out of town and this tool has the nerve to send me an email saying " hey since i haven't form you and you haven't paid, do you want me to relist this or what.."
I kindly responded to him first thing this morning after sending payment in just asking him to be more courteous next time and allow a reasonable amount of time for your buyer to respond before going all apesh*t. They spouted off another rude reply, and i replied i don't have the time or desire to argue since i appreciate his listing, and that i'm looking forward to receiving the games won.
I swear i'm dealing with a three year old, and it made my Monday less than stellar having to deal with him/her. Anyway, what would you do besides leaving zero stars?
Could it be he's mad that his MINT copy of Zelda 1 & 2 for nes (5 screw version too) only went for $10.49?

That's what I honestly think happened with my Netlink Game Pack. The seller assumed it would sell for more and when it didn't, he went cheap on the shipping.alexis524 wrote:Could it be he's mad that his MINT copy of Zelda 1 & 2 for nes (5 screw version too) only went for $10.49?
I should of known better than to use a relatively new seller, but the item isin't terribly common.
Most (not all) of my bad/disappointing deals on eBay have involved sellers with under a 100 sales. I also look at the other items they're selling to see if they even have a clue as to what a proper grading scale is. I had a dumbass say the "like new" was in reference to the picture quality on a tv set, not the condition of the console itself.
