I have the Sega Genesis collection for the PSP and lately I've been playing Kid Chameleon. Cool game. Anybody else is a fan of this game?
There's not a lot of information on this game. I looked at the one walkthrough that is on gamefaqs.com and still have some questions:
1. During the game, you hit some blocks and a helmet might fall out. Is there a way to switch between helmets? Let's say that you have the berzerker helmet and pick up the tank helmet. Can you switch between the two of them?
2. The walkthrough mentions something call Diamond Power. You have to hit A + Start at the same time. Does this work in the PSP (and perhaps the xbox 360/ps3 version)? I seem to just get the pause/continue menu. Maybe I'm not really pressing both at the same time?
Is anyone able to locate the manual for the Genesis game online? I would like to read the original manual to better understand the game.

1. As far as I'm aware, you cannot switch between helmets. If you want to change helmets, you'll have to pick up another one.
2. I know some collections have the game start on the select button (for whatever reason) and the emulator menu on the start button. Have you tried the select button?

On the PSP, the select button brings up the emulator menu where you can save/load game, go to the main menu.GSZX1337 wrote: 2. I know some collections have the game start on the select button (for whatever reason) and the emulator menu on the start button. Have you tried the select button?
In the PSP manual, it doesn't say anything about doing A+Start. It just documents the three buttons (run, jump, and special). That's why I wonder if diamond power is even supported.
Re: Sega Genesis - Kid Chameleon questions
Very ironic, I am currently playing this on my PSP as well, having never beaten it as a child. No, you can't swap helmets (maniaxe is my favorite), and the diamond power should follow whatever control scheme was used on the genesis. I actually never use it, but I will be sure to try it later to see if I can figure it out.
Good luck and enjoy!

Re: Sega Genesis - Kid Chameleon questions
I have the actual manual for the original.
Is there anything that hasn't been answered in this thread that you want me to look up?
If you would like to have the box/manual, I may be open to a trade.
