Nintendo DS - Seriously, What Am I Missing Out On?
Re: Nintendo DS - Seriously, What Am I Missing Out On?
Both platforms are nearing their retirement dates and we're still debating this?
Anyway I feel like saying the DS doesn't get quality games (refusing to use that frakking term) like it once used to.. Which is disappointing but was to be expected, given how publishing said games can be risky business.

Well, there is some truth to that, and I wasn't surprised with the news of the 3DS coming out on this year's E3.Pulsar_t wrote:Both platforms are nearing their retirement dates and we're still debating this?Anyway I feel like saying the DS doesn't get quality games (refusing to use that frakking term) like it once used to.. Still the DS is a good handheld to own, if you do like the games, some were just continuation of the GBA series (Advance Wars, Castlevania...), others did incorporate new technology (Elite Beat Agents, Zelda: Spirit Tracks, Browser Inside Story). And if you did love the GBA, I see no reasons on why you shouldn't own a DS.
I think we could list a top 30 of great DS games to own.

I have a Psp-300 and a Dsi....I never play my psp, I have about 4 games for it but it just isn't fun to use. And all I play on my DS is ports of snes rpgs.

So all you play is Chrono Trigger and Front Mission or is there another SNES/SFC port on the DSi? I guess you might be including FFIV remake, DQIV PS1 port and DQV ps2 remake. PSP has some cool PS1 rpg ports and remakes.yomomma1 wrote:I have a Psp-300 and a Dsi....I never play my psp, I have about 4 games for it but it just isn't fun to use.
