Has anybody used Create Space to print or buy a book?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Has anybody used Create Space to print or buy a book?

Post by onemanfilmcrew »

I'm looking to self publish my upcoming book and was wondering if anybody had ever used Create Space? It's the official self publishing company for Amazon, so I'm assuming it's legit. If anybody has used it, how is the quality of the book?

www.blurb.com

I am not sure of the quality of the printed material but damn it if the program isn't pretty spectacular.

The problem with Blurb is that they are incredibly expensive. They do good work if you only need a 1-off printing, but I'm looking to sell copies to the public.

Looks like the amazon thing is dirt cheap. max of $5.50 for a 5x8 black and white book with 200 pages. . . and only one copy. I seem to remember it being way more than that on lulu.com.
