I am looking for an Amstrad game i watched this video and unfortunately the game i was looking wasn't there.

I also looked on this list and no luck here either
http://www.cpcgamereviews.com/
I am going to try to describe the game as best as i can, i was probably six years old back then.
Okay first of all it was a side scroller and you controlled a small yellowish/whitish human.
It wasn't really colorful, it had somehow a creepy atmosphere, it had monsters, ghosts, spells and stuff and i remembered i was going from room to room trying to avoid the enemies and in one room it had lava at the bottom and sometimes a monster was coming from the lava (a boss perhaps?)
I dont quite remember what your abilities where to kill enemies but maybe you had magic spells and a sword lately in the game (i am not sure)
Sorry i cant remember much more but any amstrad/spectrum/commodore 64 (i guess it wasn't an amstrad exclusive but you never know) expert here willing to take a wild guess?
I think the best hint is the description of the character.

Re: Looking for an Amstrad game
Sorry but no.
But this was helpful.
1) The character i am describing was way smaller, it was a tiny one. And it didn't really have any details, it looked something like a kid will draw in a piece of paper in seconds.
2) It had way less colors and shitty graphics.
Specifically the colors were something like this

or this

Hell the second picture actually reminds me the game.

Re: Looking for an Amstrad game
Here's a list of Amstrad CPC games with pictures.
http://tacgr.emuunlim.com/
But if you think it was more like the second it might be a Spectrum game. Oh man, and here's a Spectrum page with a list and the games are playable.

Re: Looking for an Amstrad game
Unfortunately no.
To give an idea the size of the character was something like this
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9FtbSaXE ... re=related
and perhaps even smaller and he was yellowish/whitish.
The atmosphere was a mixture of Ghosts 'n Goblins, castlevania and metroid on the NES.
Oh and i am sure i was playing on an Amstrad CPC 6128 and not on Spectrum although i dont know if it was an Amstrad exclusive or not.
I understand it's difficult for someone to guess the game with so little information and also Amstrad had really obscure games.
Edit - I found it!
I don't believe it i found it on this video at ~ 3:20
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VE2-f1Dw ... re=related
It's called Myth: History in the Making and the irony is that the game is in that list i looked before
http://www.cpcgamereviews.com/m/index11.html
But when i looked at the picture i was like "it looks like it but it's not that" lol, guess the pic is from a later stage in the game. Also the character was bigger than i thought lol.
Thanks everyone for the help btw.

Re: Looking for an Amstrad game
While we're on the topic, those Amstrad screenshots look pretty nice. I don't think we got those in the US, so I haven't seen one in action before. Looks about as good as the C64, which is really good for an 8-bit machine. I may have to spend some time with an emulator and try this thing out.
