Saturn Mod Chip

Post by SaturnX03 »

How doomed I am. I get a fat paycheck (finally, Over Time) and I can't purchase my Sega Saturn Mod Chip! Racketboy no longer has some available at such a critical time.....Enough whining, anyone know where I can purchase a SSMC from a trusted source? I found a few sites that are a bit fishy, which I would not feel comfortable using my credit card information. Please help?

Are they offically gone for good? That would be terrible. I just found out that my saturn is a model 1 I was about to buy another saturn just so I could use this chip. Well If any one does know another place to buy these Mod chips I would be intrested to know as well.

Are you one of the bazillion people that emailed me about them?
I have a very small amount set aside.
I haven't decided if I will be getting more or not.

No unfortunately I'm not. I'm pretty new to this site. But if you do get more I will gaurantee you a sale probably more so I can give a modded saturn as a gift to some friends. Now if I could only find my self a model 2 Saturn.

No, I haven't emailed you yet about them :-p I was about to though. If you wish to sell off a few of those, I would be more than happy to purchase a few this evening. If not, that's fine Racketboy, I will try that site that was posted when I'm at home.

I got a model 2 and I would buy one also, not sure if I like the look of the other one I've seen - involves breaking existing pcb connections and that sound a bit too permanent if things go wrong
