You mean the safety sticker?
Why? You can always just keep the Japanese back pieces if you want just like I do.
Yeah, but I'm just kinda anal about stupid things like that. In my mind, that back HAS to be on the JPN cart. I just don't see modifying the cart as an option since it's so easy to break the tabs off in the cart slot, or even easier, use a GameShark.
I think I have to agree with Ziggy, especially on something as rare as Sin & Punishment. It's no longer pure and untouched if you've whipped the back of the cartridge off.

I whipped the back off of mine and replaced it with a nice fresh American back. It's good enough for me. The only diff is that the cart's back say N64 Game Pak and has the American-text warnings instead of the N64 Cassette and Kanji-scripted warnings.
Plus it makes the game compatible with any and all other American systems at my house in other rooms, at a friend's, at cons, at parties, etc..., etc...

No I think people get it. It just seems like your bastardising the cart by swapping it's back. Sort of like if you had one of those rare Code Veronica Dreamcasts and the inner workings broke and you just swapped it with another generic Dramcast motherboard. It's not the same thing. Functionality wise it is, but it's been tainted somehow. Weird types, these collecting folk.

I guess I can understand that. All things considered I think my S&P cart with it's US back is actually quite fitting given the game is 100% in English minus the menus.
