Smell of:

New tennis balls (fresh can)
New Magic Cards
Outside on a Spring day
Clean towels
Coffee
You have to have a non-video gaming, gaming one! In my case the freshly printed glossy paper smell fetish came mostly from Magic: TG and Star Wars CCG card games. I played those through middle and high school, so much fun to crack open a new pack and have that smell waft up. I might have to go buy some MTG cards tomorrow...
So true. So, so true.

Alright, for reals:

Peppered Bacon, cooking.

Fresh Christmas Tree.

Leather (from a baseball glove to an old car's interior)

Laphroaig.

Actually when I was collecting fantasy art cards, I remember those smelling pretty good too when first opened.

It's an amazing smell.

I can't really narrow down my 5 favorite smells. Way too many options.

But! Laphroaig is up there.

Pharmaceutical Cowboy reminded me of one. Magic: The Gathering, oh my, that's an addictive smell if ever there was one. I love the smell of opening boosters. Probably explains why I blew so much money on the damn things when I was younger. That and the thrill of pwning so many people at school at it with my pure fire deck, the matches were over before they even knew what happened.

@ Luke

I see your Laphroig, and raise you one Lagavulin 16 year. We have a bottle of Laphroig in the cupboard, I'm not a fan but my fiancée loves the stuff. It does smell nice though. Lagavulin smells AND tastes nicer. It's worth the expense if you've never had it. Hell, just buy it for the smell if you're conscious of the price. Wow.

I appreciate the suggestion. If I see a bottle in the States, I'll pick one up.

Cheers!

I'm not a drink connoisseur, but $79 for a 750 is certainly pricey. I looked if the local big liquor chain around here has it and they do.

They'll deliver to you too Luke. http://www.specsonline.com/

Oh yeah it sure is expensive, we can get it for about £37 retail if you shop around. I've asked my pub owning friend and he can get a bottle for around £30 trade. Guess that's one thing us in the UK have over you lot in the states. We get cheap(er) single malts :P It really is worth it though. Just google the name and you'll get countless reviews backing me up.
