I wonder if there is any possibility of a 360 track ball controller. Probably not I imagine.

Pfft! Yeah right!

Anyone else really struggling with the interface? I can't find out which actions are going to cost me money and which ones that aren't. Will it pop up with the extra menu where it shows you the amount it costs in msp, your msp and then the description on the right? Like it does when you buy stuff from the normal XBLA thing?

Oh, the interface is HORRIBLE. I expect them to change it, I hope.

Played a few games and poked around on it. I agree it has potential. The main thing I'm interested in is how well the games are emulated. If it's done right, which it looks pretty good so far, it bodes well for future, better games as they come out. Of course these are very, very simple games to emulate, too.

I don't mind the interface at this point but it's going to get old after a while. I thought we would be able to choose everything out of menu if we wanted to. It looks like they were considering the rooms themselves the "menu."

What's everyone playing? It seems like the Konami games are the best of the bunch so far besides a few al-time faves like Asteroids and Yar's Revenge. I'm pretty sure we get the "tokens" when people visit and play the demos on our space. So, we should rack some up. I still have a lot of demos left ....

It's a buggy mess and a ripoff.

I haven't really noticed any bugs. What happened?

Feel free to add me if you guys want. Octopod666. I am sending out Asteroids Deluxe challenges even though I suck at it.

So what's the best game on the service so far?

I have been demoing the ones I have not played before. IMO the best so far are Asteroids Deluxe and Shao-Lin's Road. Crystal Castles and Centipede do not feel right to me without a trackball or I might add them. Hell I prefer the 2600 version of Millipede they have over Trackball-less Centipede. I do not like the way Tempest controls either. I do have a soft spot for 2600 games Combat, Adventure and Yar's Revenge but I am undecided about buying 2600 games yet. Combat may very well be worth it for online multiplayer if it has that.

They just added Road Fighter which I had never played before. Demoing it I can not really tell much about it so far.

In short I would go with Asteroids Deluxe or Shao-Lin's Road for now.

Edit: Forgot to add that Scramble and Super Cobra are decent if you like really old shmups. I did not have an Intellivision as a kid and I can not figure out how to make the games start in Game Room so I have no opinion of them.

Indeed, something wasn't right. Too sensitive for one. Also I know they were trying to go for arcade feel, but was it really necessary to add blur and bloom to make it look like someone had sneezed on the screen and then used a napkin after their Micky D meal to 'clean' it?
