Professor Layton series?

I think this is a great game for getting an otherwise non-gamer wife into gaming. My wife did the same thing: started playing it and couldn't put it down. I've never seen her do that with a video game.

She gave Wind Waker a shot and liked it but got frustrated by some of the exploration and puzzles. Layton just clicked with her though.

She 100%'d the first game AND downloaded the bonus puzzles and played those. She's currently working through the second game as I type this.

my wife liked helping me puzzles in Wind Waker, but she didn't like the controls. She doesn't like battling either.
