Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

quick question Express mail or first class mail?

Post by benderx »

Which is cheaper Express mail or first class mail for UMD games/movies? This is for U.S. mail. I was using priority mail most often. UMD stuff always weighs less.

1st Class is fine.

No need for express unless a kidney transplant or a desperate gamer. :D

FYI, Priority is more or less First Class, just for things past a certain weight and size.

Is Prority Mail International Envellope reliable? I am asking this because you can't add insurance to it.

Lotsa bubble wrap and tape. I would not send anything of very high value without a confirm delivery and insurance though.

I've never really got insurance, but I ALWAYS get delivery confirmation.

You'll probably never need express mail... it's overnight. Maybe for something besides games, but I don't know what you'd need to get out overnight. If it's UMD's then the shipping would probably be more than the cost of whatever you're shipping. First class with DC is the way to go on that stuff, methinks (unless you're sending several at a time, then you'll need priority)
