vista

Post by sohoya »

Is there compatibility problems with discjuggler and windows viste? Ive tried several times to burn a disc image unpacked by winrar, and when i load iit in as the source file the discjuggler program shuts down and it says that windows is searching for a solution.. bla bla bla. Is DJ not vista ready or is it becaus the file is larger than 700 megs? By the way, this is my first attempt at doing this. Total noob.

Get the newest version and it works fine. I have Vista and ran into that problem too.

Yeah, I had the same problem a few days ago. I never resolved the problem, and ended up just using nero instead. I also installed Alcohol 120 and that seemed to work fine as well. Maybe you should try that for all your cdi-burning needs?

I tried to install alchohal 120 on my computer, and it crashed it. took me forever to get windows back up. I thought it was toast. Again I assumed it was a vista conflict. Is there a free version of nero? It looks like im going to have to put together a tower with some parts laying around and install xp, for this kind of stuff. Vista can be a real pain.

You have to get the newest version of Alcohol %120. Any version except the brand new one crashes your computer and you have to do a recovery. Ya us Vista users have allot of problems :(

EDIT: This is the newst version... Alcohol 120% v1.9.6.5429

And ya there is for Nero, but most disk images aren't in Nero's format. CDI's are the most popular on most things.
