C-64 will never die
- only the players
- only the players
Re: a plead to be shot down
That reminds me of how GameInformer scores you on the trivia on the back of the mag. But thats pretty funny though. Wearing the Power Glove is great, but being master of the U-Force is something that is only earned through hard work and dedication.Jrecee wrote:Maybe they could just be changed entirely. . . here's some ideas, from worst to best ranking;

Yea, I know I have seen the "Forever 8-bit" before, but it was with some of the first members.Dylan wrote:Doesn't Grittykitty have a user specific title: "Forever 16-bit"?Niode wrote:With the current software (PHPBB3) it is not possible for the mods to edit your titles. Sorry.
Maybe in the future this sort of feature will be added. For the time being it isn't available.
I would definitely dig user set titles, but I do not know what that entails.

Same here apologies, I tend to go in different tangents. Hope my tangents add positive info on some forgotten gems of 8 bit computers, the first transition from console to today's PCs and Macs.Lord_Santa wrote:and sorry about the topic going out-of-hand
That "Tunnel" game maybe Master of the Lamps?WiseFool22 wrote:!!!!!! NO WAY!!!
C64 was the first "gaming" I ever did! And Hey Taxi and Ultamite Wizard were my favorites! Along with the Streetbeat or Streetbox game (you walked around with a boom box), and some game where you flew through tunnels with a jet pac.
I want to play ultamite wizard again before I die...
Or the landing sequence level in C64 Aliens?

Another unique game, Web Dimesion. 8-Bit music gaming before REZ.

I'm about to cry tears of joy, I just played Ultimate wizard with an emulator. I need to find me a real C64...

Glad I inspired you! Real credit actually goes to "Lord_Santa" and his Avatar.WiseFool22 wrote:I just asked my older sister, it was H.E.R.O.CRTGAMER wrote: That "Tunnel" game maybe Master of the Lamps?

Another one of a kind C64 game! I have hit my head with a hammer a lotta times.

Yes, he does, and all of you can have your titles changed using the Admin control panel. However only admins can access this. The mods cannot, our access level exists on a plane above normal users and below admins. Racketboy et al have more important matters to attend to than changing your titles. Sorry.Dylan wrote:Doesn't Grittykitty have a user specific title: "Forever 16-bit"?Niode wrote:With the current software (PHPBB3) it is not possible for the mods to edit your titles. Sorry.

It may be a possibility that titles could be changed as a reward for input into the community. This may be something Racketboy would be interested in doing. However, simply requesting a title change is a sure fire way of not receiving one! So don't pester him! If you have valued input into the community it will be recognised, I promise.
