DC Back Up Ripping help!!

Post by Abras »

So, my DC crapped out on me about 1.5 months ago. I was very sad and was planning on getting a new one. But abut a week ago I got a new computer and have recently discovered that it is more than powerful enough to run the DC emulators. Now I know ripping the original GD-roms isn't likely, but I do have a bunch of back up cd-roms...See where I'm going? How do I rip the files from my cd-roms onto my Hard drive so I can play them in nulldc? Or is there a way to play straight from the cd drive? I'd really prefer the first option (Idon't want to screw up my cd-rom drive), but any help at all is appreciated.

Google discjuggler and rip to a cdi file. Trust me, it's pretty straightforward.

If their on cd-r's, just pop them in your cd drive, then Install NullDC, and make sure NullDC's plugin for cd's is set to the second one.

Your better off getting a new DC tho, games crash/freeze and stuff, with any emu for DC. A new DC is only like $25 so if your not poor like me you shouldn't have a problem getting a new 1 :P
