This cool guy on Dtoid has a contest open and is giving away five copies! I'm trying to win, so posting a link may hurt my chances, but I feel obligated to share the love.

That looks like one cool game! I keep debating getting a Wii just for WiiWare and VC...

One time I hear a person bought a Wii because he actually was interested in the Wii's physical lineup! Weird, I know.

You can get wii's that don't read discs for peanuts (I just got one for £35! No wiimote though) That's the way to go if you just want Wiiware... or HDD loaders...

Sweet, been reading about this one for awhile, I just got Max and the Magic Marker so I might wait a little while to pick this up.

The new graphics are very nice, the music less so. For some reason I thought there'd be a button to mix and match the old/new music/graphics on the fly, but it has to be set in the options. I'm playing with new graphics, old music - although the sound effects channel is way too loud. For the record, yes I do live in Ireland, and yes I am playing a pirate WAD. As soon as its released in PAL territory I'll be buying it legit. Cave Story is simply an amazing game and Pixel definitely deserves financial reward for creating it.

Good so far. I agree the new music is so-so, but I don't hate it and that says a lot since I am extremely biased to the original soundtrack. I started playing new graphics/old music, a little ways in I turned down the sound effects volume to get a god balance. I just switched to new everything. I figure I might as well experience as much new as possible.

I think the Wii can officially be called the retro console now.
