Saturn Grandia

Post by brendanraymond »

Was this game ever released in english on the saturn?

How many games are there on the saturn? is there 2 versions of this game? The origional and digital meusium?

I've played the one on the PS1, and that was the origional version. I currently have the jap version of digital museum on the saturn, but its annoying my gf when im asking her every 2 seconds about this and that kanji >_<

unfortuently grandia for the saturn and the digital museum were both never released on the saturn in the US. for the first grandia the best your gonna get is the ps1 port...which isn't actually soo bad. the biggest problem with the us version is that it is now considered moderately rare. it can be anywhere between 30 and 50 dollars. the other alternative is if you have a ps3 or a psp. sony recently re-released it as a ps1 classic for $10 on the psn store. the museum has never been released in the us at all.

Yea I was looking at this game the other day. Is there ANY rpgs for the saturn that are REALLY worth playing? Not the typical rpg/text/battle same ol' same ol'?

Well panzer dragoon saga is a great rpg that isn't so typhical......but there is a catch, in the name of money. it can be a very high priced game. there is shining force 3...but that is also expensive. there is also Dragon Force, shining in the holy ark (this is a typical rpg though), Albert Odyssey, Shining Wisdom, and the spiritual successor to landstaker: Dark Savior.

Yeah I started playing Shining Force 3 the other day - is it worth the time/effort?

Chrono Trigger was the most enjoyable RPG I've ever played - never really played another that I enjoyed that much..

well i haven't played much of shining force 3, i know for sure that the other shining force games (1 and 2) were excellent...and 3 took nothing away from those game's formulas.
