I agree. In fact, I would burn all 3 discs of the game and permanently store the rest away, so the originals dosnt get busted up as well. There is nothing wrong with a backup if you got the original game, and theres no way the original designers still make money of a copy you buy from ebay :P

Round scratches usually caused from stopping spinning disc by hand. I usually power off, then either let the disc wind down by itself or just stop in the center at the spindle.
