Wow... I really like that game room you have there.

Could you talk about the dimensions? Height, width and lenght of the tunnel?

Judging by the size of the carts and NES, it can't be very big. I'm very curious as to its real size.

I don't think I have exact figures... but I do think I can approximate if I haven't already in previous posts.
Length: 18-19 feet Width: 6 feet Height: 3-4 feet
Here is a new image I haven't posted yet that I found of the whole thing in the room I built it! Those are strobe lights on the top that I added for a dance party outside of the tunnel which don't fit a retro theme entirely but are a little fun to have for dark room dance parties. The tunnel is also wrapped in plastic which is really unnecessary but made it even better because it looks sort of gift wrapped or unopened or something. The back by the wall is open so I could access it to install the ventilation fan in the back wall of the tunnel.

Wow, it's that small? That is awesome, but how do you fit in it and sit comfortably?

This is a brilliant idea. This is gaming in sensory deprivation. I like to turn the lights off when I play games, and this is taking it to the next level.

The dimensions are exactly designed to force people to either lay down or sit on the floor of the tunnel. It's perfect for it. Plenty of room for the main players up front by the tv and room for viewers behind down the sides. Keep in mind the space it's built in is a really big room for art school critiques to take place - 19' x 6' x 3.5' is plenty big.

That's right about the sensory deprivation in a sense. After being in there for a long period of time you really lose track of time and the experience takes you somewhere that sitting in an incandescent lit room can not. It seems harsh in photos but the blacklights are soothing after a while. You can sleep in there too without any bothersome brightness :)
I am heavily considering recreating this project, and am looking to either do it at a venue like a gallery or trying to just do this custom for whomever wants one. It's not very expensive to do... so I hope I can find some place to make it happen. I'm moving to NY near Albany, anyone out there interested?
