Money, Money, Money. Okay for Retro gaming getting exposure, wish CNN would focus more on joys of re-discovering retro games not just money value.

the worst part is that asshats with an NES in the closet are going to start jumping on eBay and Craigslist with SMB/DH expecting $2000 for it. They need to emphasize that most retro games aren't worth much at all, but these are valuable for very specific reasons.

Exactly.

Nice how the first picture in the article says "Very rare video games can be worth a pile of money", and then shows a picture of the most common NES games. Ready for $300 Mario 3 carts to start popping up on CNN because of semi-deceitful reporting by CNN again AND people who can't read and actually *gasp* research?
