If part 2 is for the Dreamcast, I would say that's a pretty good deal.

The only way to deactivate the ray beam and fight back the vampire alien threat is with a complicated series of foot patterns on the device's control board that looks remarkably like a DDR pad. We will all praise this man for saving our lives and buy him a mountain of stuffed animals.

Yes, very good deal indeed!

I think I paid $8 or so for Shenmue I at Gamestop years ago when they still sold used Dreamcast games. Shenmue II (PAL) was like $75 on e-bay.

Last year I got shenmue 1 (USA) with no manual for about $8, and then I had to pay $50 on ebay for Shenmue 2 (PAL) in great condition and full. I ALMOST had Shenmue 2 for $10 because a friend in germany bought it for $5 at a local game store and shipped it, but it got destroyed in the mail. I still got HeadHunter just fine that way for the same price I believe.

So yeah, you got a GREAT deal.

Is there any reason for the DC version to be more sought after than the XBox version besides rarity?

The Dreamcast PAL version has the original Japanese voice-acting w/ English subtitles, something the Xbox version does not have to my knowledge. Might be one reason.
