console monitor leads

1.Is it worth getting monitor leads for my consoles would I notice the difference?
2.How much are they going to cost me?
3.what is the best way to hook up all my consoles to one monitor?
4.What is sound set up best opshions?

I have a dell e1s2fpg monitor

any help appreciated
GOT,ps2 chiped,,game cube sliver,x box,dream cast,n 64,ps2 slim,ps2 slim,game boy sp X2 tribal and black,game gear,saturn(no tv lead),xbox 360,xbox 360 chipped,snes.master system 1and 2.

HAD BACK IN THE DAY vic 20,sega master system,nes,mega drive,super nes,atari st,amiga 500+,ps1,gameboy advance.

The Dreamcast definitely, inexpensive upgrade. 640x480 resolution, get the VGA box with bypass for DC games that don't support VGA. There are video VGA switch boxes you can find.

Yes I read on this site that dreamcast leads are good .my tv is on its way out so I was thinking why not get a monitor and hook up all my consoles to it?

Thanks. Far as sound hookup to your monitor, the Dreamcast VGA box also has audio out. Any amplified or built in monitor speakers are fine.
