Everybody seems to be making a big deal of this. Hey, I'd love a new Darkstalkers more than any other game, period - but Ono has said he wanted to make a new Darkstalkers multiple times. Doesn't mean Darkstalkers 4 is imminent.

Plus, I think I'd trust Hidetoshi Ishizawa more than Ono. After all, Ishizawa did Darkstalkers 3 and Tatsunoko vs Capcom.

I would love to see a revival of Darkstalkers. I really dig those games. I don't know if I'd want it to have a graphics style similar to SFIV though.

I'm one of the guys that doesn't want Darkstalkers to have the same artstyle as SFIV. If it were in 3D, I'd want it to look like Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, since Morrigan looks great in there.
But I'd still prefer it in 2D, having it look more like SFIII, or more recently, Blazblue.

Man cannot live on speculation alone. I've enjoyed the possibility, but now it's time for some action. If Capcom can make TvC, then they can make another Darkstalkers.

This might happen eventually, but only after it is proven to the Capcom management fighters outside of Street Fighter are money makers. SF4 and TvC both exceeded sales forecasts so that is a good start. Games are a business though, and its hard to see Darkstalkers selling very well sad as that may be.

Well, honestly, if they only released it in Japan (where the Darkstalkers series seems to excel), that would be fine with me and - I'd wager - most other Darkstalkers fans. As long as they make at least one version for the PS3, I'm sure no one would have a problem importing it - and if they made it for the Wii, I'd Homebrew Channel my Wii for that one game alone.

If they wanted to test the waters without committing too much, then they should re-release Vampire Chronicles for Matching Service on the PS3 and Xbox 360, Marvel vs Capcom 2 style.
