The less stickers on a box, the better, but from what I've seen, there will no longer be a white/yellow color distinction between New and Used games. I don't like that; I think they should keep the yellow stickers, but have less of them.

I think "Modman" is saying is just off the spines. I would think the used games have to maintain a separate UPC code to differentiate used from new games. I just am hoping only one yellow sticker covering used game bar code. I think I own stock in Liftoff 2 label remover.

Where did you hear that?

As far as I know there will still be yellow and white stickers to differentiate between new and used titles.

Yup, you are correct sir.

Also, why use sticker remover? Just peel off the stickers gently and if they tear slightly start from another corner. If you run you out of corners and end up leaving some sticky residue just place a sticky part of the sticker back on the plastic and use it to pull the goo and gunk off of the case.

I think because glue underneath from a previous older sticker the new one rips. Newer used games I do get lucky when doing that tug "stretch" while peeling back.

Yeah, in the case of older and more worn games that have seen multiple trades getting stickers off cleanly without any goo gone or other sticker remover can be a pain.

They said this at the GS near me over the weekend too. Said all stickers will be white from now on and one employee was pulling stuff to resticker. The guy at the counter specifically said to the parental customers in front of me "Would it confuse if all games were using the same 1 color sticker instead of 2? Well, corporate is making us change it." Or something very close to that.

Hmm, it might be a test market or something. All I was told by my manager is that only one sticker per case from now on and no spine stickers whatsoever.

Easier for Gamestop Employees too.
Okay, I'll bite, why Sports games, not your favorite Genre?
Perhaps because there's no chance a sports game will ever retain any value. Come to think of it, none of my other games retain value either.

 Sad but true.

Have you not seen this month's trade deal at GS?! All games are trading-in with an extra 50% bonus and the standard values on most titles have been increased by a decent amount as well, but it ends tomorrow the 17th!
