That's because we're a friendly bunch. Granted I'm not a forum tourist, but I think a lot of general mayhem sections on forums are large. This wouldn't be as nice a place to be if it was "post about games, only games, and nothing but games or GTFO!" If you're worried about there not being enough game discussion, start some threads to make more happen.
