apart from that, I emulate just about every system out there (I know, I'm a bad person)
mainly because I am a very, very, very poor gamer
I *do* purchase consoles/games whenever I can afford them though

the 44" makes oldskool games look PERFECT, in the sense that there's no "pixelation", etc.
albeit I do try to play the X360 on my 22" WideScreen LCD monitor, but I still enjoy it on my TV as well

I have a bunch of games, which I'll try to upload pics for later on (nothing special, but I try to collect as I go on)

I also collect PC's (mainly old ones I find, am given) and have about 14-15 in my basement, ranging from 486-PI-PII-PIII-Athlon, etc.

add to that a bunch of joysticks for the PC and a bunch of controllers as well; and I'm pretty much set for retirement =)

Do you ever get images burned in the screen of that projector TV?

thanks for the replies =)

it's a Grundig Cinema 9030 Super Color TV ^^

I got it for my 31th birthday, bought at my local flea-market for about $130 (with transportation =)

as to images burning on the screen; it was/is very old when I got it; and I did have a load of trouble getting a clear picture, but I opened it up and cleaned it

it consists of 3 projectors (1 green, 1 red and 1 blue) projecting the image unto a mirror, which projects unto (yet another) mirror, thus I dusted them off and got a very clear picture

about a couple of months later, my RF-antenna started having trouble (unfortunately it has a very old SCART connection, which I'm not sure how it functions), so I was prepared to chuck it out

then I opened the side of it and lo' and behold, I could easily exchange the cable, thus having a "perfect" picture

it is *very* easy to open up and "fiddle" around with:

it is "basically" empty inside, apart from the circuit-boards (on the side) and the projectors/mirrors

the screen itself is a form of hard-plastic and is very easy to clean; in fact there's even instructions on the inside =)

as you can see, I can even fit inside of it, so it is *very* simple construction
I'll (probably) never be able to afford a flat-screen-TV, but I am very content with this one, as I'm certain it is a lot easier to repair than a new one =)

as for my game-collection, I am slowly (but steadily) investing in (mainly) Xbox1/GameCube games at the moment, since I figure that the 360 games are not very hard to get by, but the GameCube and Xbox1 are rapidly disappearing from the market, hence I'd like to collect as many as possible before they do

it's not a giant collection by any means, but it's coming along =)

I am disappointed that there are no Santa figurines in your gaming room Lord Santa. But that tv is awesome. Gotta love the tricolor rear projections.
