wait are you telling me you have Metal Gear Solid 3 before 2 on your ps2 shelf?

Sorted by system and then alphabetically, but not chronologically... i.e. Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Legend is filed under L for Lara while Tomb Raider: Underworld is filed under T for Tomb.

yeah, I have Operation C under O. I just feel like it'd look weird to have a title starting with O mixed in with titles starting with C.ujnhunter wrote:Sorted by system and then alphabetically, but not chronologically... i.e. Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Legend is filed under L for Lara while Tomb Raider: Underworld is filed under T for Tomb.

If I had those games, then yes, that's how I would sort them. My Metroid games go Zero Mission, Prime, Echoes, Corruption, Trilogy, Fusion.AppleQueso wrote:wait are you telling me you have Metal Gear Solid 3 before 2 on your ps2 shelf?

Well I just do things alphabetically by console, with exceptions for games in the same series, which are ordered chronilogically by release date.
For example, my ps2 shelf has Katamari Damacy with We <3 Katamari right next to it, both under "K".

I separate mine by system, but my collection is rather small, so there's not a lot to categorize.

Oh my god, I would strangle you if I had to find a game in your collection. I'd be like "here's Contra, here's Contra Force, WHERE THE HELL IS SUPER CONTRA!??!?!?!" Then I'd check the "S" section, but there'd be a moment of extreme "god dammit!"noiseredux wrote:yeah, I have Operation C under O. Re: OCD question about filing your collection...
I love these OCD threads - makes me feel kindof normal! The only OCD filing problems I have is with VC on the wii... it's one page per system, but then I alternate between alphabetical, chronological, by genre and preference. Everything else is where i last put it
