Are there movies that you save for a special occassion?

Great choices. I'd probably add Duck Soup to my list, and if I were playing a game for a pick me up, I'd have Ducktales on that list.

With 31 Carry On movies there's always something fitting for any given occasion! They don't make 'em like they used to.

Well, for awhile I didn't buy too many DVDs, then I started buying the ones that I thought everyone else needs to have seen. "Oh, you haven't seen Pulp Fiction, shame on you. Lets put it in"

I often find myself showing people Pulp Fiction, Fight Club, the Departed, the Boondock Saints, Usual Suspects. Leon the Professional is another good one. Two movies on a lighter note that I always love to toss on are Super Troopers and Pootie Tang. If you haven't seen Pootie Tang stop what you're doing now and get your hands on a copy. I doubt the trailer does it justice, but even my parents love that movie.

Given the opportunity I'd watch the old ninja turtles with a childhood friend or two.

Oh and, JT, I'm going to be looking forward to Natural Born Killers. The name is familiar, but I don't know anything about it. To see it listed along side Pulp Fiction and Fight Club though puts a smile to my face.

Pink Floyd - The Wall = whenever I get some psychedelics (every other year, or so)
Battle Royale = whenever I feel the need to watch people suffer
George A. Romero's "the dead" series = whenever I'm in a Zombie mood
C-64 will never die
- only the players

Nice to see that there are other people who like Pulp Fiction (not that I shouldn't be surprised). I like to consider that one among my favorites, alongside The Dark Knight, Hot Fuzz, and Terminator 2: Judgment Day. I'd ask which ones are among your favorites, but that sounds like something for another topic...

I'm sure you probably know about it, but if you don't, try and find a copy of Dark Side of The Rainbow. I won't go in to details explaining it because I'm sure you know about it. But if you don't, just look it up. It's a pretty fun...trip. :D

Anyways, I save Top Gun for when I'm drunk with the boys, The Goonies for when I'm drunk with the boys, Army of Darkness for when I'm drunk with the boys, and Last Action Hero whenever I feel like it.
