I'm down for a few more good Star Wars games. Lots of great ones out there, lots of material to work with. Sometimes you have to take the bad with the good.
How about a space simulator like X-Wing, set during the Yuuzhan Vong war?

I agree with OP.

Also, I want to see the Doom franchise continue. Doom 3 wasn't going to win any game of the year awards, but it was damn fun and loyal to its roots. I'd expect the same out of future games.

I don't want any franchise to end. As long as there is enough games out there I have a choice than I am fine with whatever is released. If I don't want it I pick something else.

Is there a parallel universe where the likes of Halo, CoD, WoW and Madden don't exist? Must be a happier place if so.

If I recall right, Doom was almost always fully lit and more about blowing the shit out of everything that moved, while Doom 3 was in perpetual darkness and more about seeing if you can second guess all the "scare" points.

If your not into Nintendo then I don't really see your point if you don't like Nintendo games then don't play/buy the them simple.
I want Nintendo franchises to carry on as long as Nintendo are around because it's why I buy Nintendo consoles in the first place so I get to play the next Zelda , Mario and Metroid.

At least when they make new versions of a game not only are they good but they also consistently get high review ratings.

Although I do have to say it would be good if they stopped putting Mario into every single genre.
