Wow, that's actually kind of...pointless, having that many of each system, and he still doesn't even have all of them. 3 of each I could probably undertstand but when you end up with that many Mega Drives and NES, there's something wrong with you. A lot of them are even if poor condition, so what's the point?

Also, where's the pile of video cables and power cables and switchboxes and whatnot?

Well I think he was laying all the crap out for a photo or something, because the final pic he took is this:

So maybe he was moving, or selling it or who knows.

Right, but unless he sold it all as bulk he's not going to get much for it with no cables. And if he did sell it in bulk someone got a bunch of junk with no cables. :) Of course, there may have been cables not pictured.

Those X-Eyes are pretty rare. There were only 2 or 3 on eBay and they were going for a premium. Can you still slap a 32X on one of thoe? The whole 3 power supply crap with the Genesis/CD/32X conbo is one of the only reasons I don't want one. This would at least bring it down to 2.

You could always get a CDX/Multi-Mega. Does the same job, but is even smaller. Pretty rare as well, but not as rare as an X-Eye.

Isn't this the guy who was profiled last year by the Vintage Computing and Gaming site?

If not, you guys should look that up. Dude lives in Canada and has the most incredible collection ever.

You mean this guy?

PICTURE 2
PICTURE 3

What is kind of funny is this guy has an assload of games, but no systems... maybe these two guys should get together. One will provide the systems, the other will provide the games.

On a personal side note though, this is why I only collect controllers. People can make emulators to play the games. People can dump the games to play in emulators. But, you can't download a SNES controller, or a Saturn pad. :D
