SOTN Castle map

Post by Anapan »

Someone's finally ripped the entire first castle map from Castlevania Symphony of the Night!
I attempted it years ago, but never got far.

Warning: This will kill most computers.

If you're into that kinda stuff, there's a full map of Diablo's Tristram

I'm scared to load it on my comp.

Is it the Japanese version for the Saturn with the two extra levels? (underground gardens, and something else?)

It's the US PS1 version.
I finally had to right-click on the link, and choose "save link as..." then load it up in Paint Shop Pro. Irfanview didn't like it.
You need lots of ram. The PNG is 21Mb, but uncompressed (in your computer's memory) it's over 550Mb.

Heh. Firefox went from 170 to 907 megs with it loaded. Hooray for 3+ gigs of system memory.
