If you end up having to trail and error it, my first guess would be white is white, orange is yellow, and green is red.

Also, I'm not sure how the mini DIN is constructed, but would it be possible to splice it open to see which wire is going to which pin? If you could, then all you would have to do is look at the pin diagram for it to tell which wire is which.

But trial and error shouldn't take too long, the only downside is it being hard to tell which audio side is which. As I type this, I now remember I had this problem when doing mine.

I would check the amount of pins, all the first party RF adapters I have heard of are only mono, the pin isn't there.

I think most get stereo into the box but only mono out. Mine only has 3 pins. Take a look at my last post (edited). I have NFI what to do now hehe.

Well from what I can see in the pics, I guess you'd have to trail and error it. Unless there's something printed on the underside of the PCB.

Or course, if you're really concerned about getting stereo cables, you could just get a mini DIN plug and wire a composite cable to it according to that diagram. The only real benefit of turning an RF adapter into a composite cable is saving money.

So just trial and error it will take you 2 minutes.

And as that diagram shows, you are lacking the right stereo pin.

Do i just try to connect "audio mono" and "stereo L" together?

I am unaware of what information you want, put ground to ground, then try different combination's of wire's, after doing it once you will know which is your video and which is giving you audio. Its not that hard.

Rather just do it right the first time since im not in any rush. I would also like to know if im supposed to have the "audio mono" pin/wire physically connected to "stereo L". Might hit up the thrift stores in a bit and see if i can find another rf that might have the correct wires.

If you don't have a way to test wires here is a nice free way to do it (if anyone comes across anything like this again).

pick a battery, some wire and a lamp (maybe an AA battery and a 1,5V led) and do this:

put a cable end to a pin and the other to the unknown cutted wires, when the lamp lights up, you'll know wich pin is linked to wich wire :p

Duno why i never thought of testing the wires lolz

Yeah, I've heard of the LED trick before. It's ingenious, but I never had to resort to it yet. Glad it worked for you. Some one told me about it not too long ago. I probably would have suggested it to you last night, but it was late when I was posting and I was half falling asleep lol.

So you hooked it up dual mono? I was gonna say, if you only have mono, at least hook it up to both audio RCA's. I remember when I use to have my Genesis 3 with mono composite cables. Only having the sound coming out of one side of my TV drove me crazy! lol

edit: I wonder what the hell that white wire is there for? There's no pin for it? Maybe it's a ground?
