Just thought I'd pass this along -
http://cgi.ebay.com/Sega-Dreamcast-Deve ... dZViewItem
Someone selling off two development boxes and gd-rom writer. I was tempted but when I read
No cables. No Discs. No Paperwork or Manuals. All 3 units power up but I have no other way to test them. I was told that they all worked but cannot confirm it.
I didn't feel like taking a chance.

There was a blank GD-ROM the other day up for $20 - I considered picking it up mainly for collection purposes.

Sega has stopped producing GD-ROMs, so they are now a scarce commodity for homebrew and indie developers. The prices were bound to skyrocket.

The GD-ROM writer might not be worth much, but the dev units themselves could be valuable and still usable. They might work OK with homebrew dev software.
