PS3's "Move" revealed
Re: PS3's "Move" revealed
The Playstation "Move" looks pretty fancy, but I still prefer the old Playstation "Sit Still"

Re: PS3's "Move" revealed
Unless I get the compilations of time crisis, house of the dead, virtua cop, and all the other arcade light gun shooters that are easily now possible, this thing is useless to me.
Re: PS3's "Move" revealed
Let's muddy the waters even more shall we you lousy, overpaid MBAs? It's already too late in the the 360 and PS3 life-cycles to release this waggle crap.

Re: PS3's "Move" revealed
I'll probably get one at the end of the PS3's life cycle, just so I have an excuse to play Flower again. [Not that I need one] They'll probably be about $15-$20 in a few years.
Re: PS3's "Move" revealed
I would be up for this pending further reviews. My least favorite thing about consoles is the two stick F/TPS standard, I just can't pick up any precision or enjoyment out of it. So the Wii comes along and I get the chance to play Resident Evil 4 with controls I enjoy.
I look forward to this not for the minigames or the pet grooming or the ping pong, but to get a chance to play some FPS that I missed out on because of controls.

IF they patch in support for earlier titles I might be tempted to think positively of this, but afaik there's no news of that, so correct me if I'm wrong. The fact Microsoft dropped the dedicated chip from its Natal platform meant that patches for pre-Natal titles will be nigh-on impractical. Again, correct me if I'm mistaken.JWatts wrote:I look forward to this not for the minigames or the pet grooming or the ping pong, but to get a chance to play some FPS that I missed out on because of controls.

But is it really worth $100? That will probably translate to a price in the UK of around £69.99-100, considering I already have 2 PS Eye cameras it's just way too much.

Re: PS3's "Move" revealed
honestly, motion controls are the one thing I dislike about the Wii. So this does nothing for me. I really don't see motion control as much more than a novelty. Something that might kind of fun for a certain game, for a little while, but then gets old. (Like the guitar controller for Guitar Hero).
