I need to know the name of a title for the Dreamcast.

It's a game where you drive little european cars on different stunt tracks. You've got tasks like jump your car of this ramp and land on some circle, or pop 50 balloons on this road covered in obstacles in 25 seconds. And other nonsense like that.

Visually the game shows itself off as a very prim, clean, formal game. Nothing weird, cute or kidsy like Crazy Taxi or nothing. It feels like a normal racing sim, but the game is all about stunts and shit.

Landing in circles and popping balloons makes me think Crazy Taxi 2, but European cars? Vanishing Point maybe, but I played maybe 15 min of it, so I never saw the first two mentionables.

That definitely sounds like the stunt mode from Vanishing Point. Vanishing Point is an under-rated racer on the Dreamcast with a lot of variety.

"little european cars"

Well, they don't look like european cars to me, but the rest of the description reminds me of Stunt GP.

Is Stunt GP made by the same developer as VP? Might be related, there.

Definitely is "Vanishing Point"

thanks y'all... several years ago my friend bought it for his Dreamcast and we spent this 4 day party on the beach in a hotel room playing this game (amongst other more beach worthy features)... we found ourselves ignoring late night swimming for this game instead.

LOTS of fun, and I've been wondering what it was for sometime. But I'd only remember it every once in awhile, and then forget about it only moments later. So when it came to me yesterday I took the chance to ask around about it.

Alas my friend didn't remember the name either as some kid stole the game from us during the party. Why he would steal this game and not the rest of our huge collection of titles, or the dreamcast itself is beyond me. But hey, I guess that's what those darned drugs do to people.

I've been looking for this game myself for ages. I read an interview in a mag where the developers claimed the game was a tribrute to Sega racing games, and has little references here and there to games like Scud Race.
