RIP: Corey Haim

Post by jp1 »

Rest in peace. You will be missed.

I grew up in the Corey/Corey era. I don't care if they aren't what they once were. Too many great movies not to show some love and respect.

Tonight's play-list at my house:

The Lost Boys
License to Drive

Perhaps he will be dating Dana Plato in the afterlife. They can talk about making FMV games. :D

On a more serious note, I've never really understood the addictive personalities like his. It's so unfortunate that such seemingly insurmountable addictions seem to get the better of them time and time again until it causes their untimely deaths.

Yup, I agree with the mods. No one uses the search filter first.

Actually I did use the search filter first. NOTHING showed up...surprise surprise. Anyway we now have a dedicated thread so everyone can post in this one exclusively or be ostracized.

Just some good nature ribbing.

I posted about his death this morning on the ticked off thread.

I saw that after your post. I was just taking a little jab back at ya...nothing serious. Hence the winky face.

Actually I did do a search though and your post wasn't showing up early. It does now though.

Double Switch is my favorite FMV game. And yes I know "favorite FMV game" is like getting a bronze at the special olympics, but still, I loved that game and I'll miss Corey Haim. He was an 80's God.

Tragic! 15 years ago I thought it would have been the other Corey.
