Just mind the spelling next time. Nonetheless, an interesting read.
Hey buddy! I'll give you a piece of my mind! I'll cut it off with this machete right here as I can't think of a better way to do it!

I corrected that one earlier, piece and peace are not quite the same thing when dealing with the thinky muscle.

This is sort of like me except I play some casual games.

I think we all fall in one or more of these know-it-all categories, I know I do.
Systems: Sega Dreamcast(x2), Sega Genesis(x2), Sega Saturn, Sega CD, Genmobile (portable Genesis), FC Twin, PSX, PS2(x2), GBA, SP, Xbox 360, N64, Showcase Arcade

weasels wrote:looks like i sort of fit into The Youngling category.. considering that most of my retro memories are from what my brother played and when i got the 64, i got really into gaming and that i was born in 1991. although it's hard to say because i have been playing the NES, genesis, and snes since i was a little one at my grandma's house and at home. eh i was just lucky i guess. being from a lower middle class family at the time i got a lot of hand-me-downs. although i would like to say im not really a know-it-all at all, and if im wrong i will admit it, i know that it's something that i can't judge really and only others can.
You're not the only one, I was born in 94' and I have fond memories of 1080 snowboarding and Mario Kart 64. I'm a youngling also and say screw you original gamers  ...jk

Fuck grammar/spelling/punctuation police. This is the internet, not a fucking academic journal. Get your superiority kicks somewhere else.

Nothing bothers me more than people who patrol the internet in search of someone to bust over some simple homophones.

Anyway, I'm all of these at times 'cept: Grammar Nazi, Youngling, and Employee.

Another know-it-all is "The Moderator." They think they're cooler than Pluto because they can lock threads; anything they say goes, and when they're feeling particularly grand, they try to write in short, preferably one word, sentences. (Btw, this doesn't particularly apply to all you moderators, so no bans kthnx.)

I disagree with the attitude that "this is the internet." I see no reason for us to contribute to the dumbening down of our language. Now, busting someone's chops because English isn't their first language and they make some mistakes is unnecessary, but if you claim to be a native speaker and can't keep the forms of there straight then I'm going to come after you.

Anything they says go, and when they're feeling particularly awesome, they try to write in short, preferably one word, sentences. Btw, this doesn't particularly apply to all you moderators, but you cannot deny there aren't lots of people like this.
Come now, there are so many other reasons besides locking threads that make us mods cooler than Pluto.

Yeah like editing your posts so that it says "I am a moron" in a wall of text.

N.B. I have never done the above. Honest!
