Can someone walk me through the steps so I can upload a picture to a post? Thanks in advance for any help.

Re: Uploading a picture?
The way I do it is to upload a picture to a hosting site like tinypic.com. It'll generate BBS syntax as well as HTML. Copy the BBS syntax to your post.robb_0909 wrote:Can someone walk me through the steps so I can upload a picture to a post? Thanks in advance for any help.
For Craigslist postings, I do the same except copy the HTML syntax to my ads. Then it's easy to repost the ad (after it expires) without having to reupload the pictures again.
Tinypic.com works very well and I haven't seen any cases where images expire. I would avoid photobucket because I see expired images all the time as well as "User has exceeded bandwidth" image. Very annoying.

When you reply, under the 'Post a reply' section you will notice a "Upload attachment" section....

I avoid all those on line photo sites, Tinypic, Photo bucket etc. Too java bloated and not private. As "emwearz" points out you can send pics directly off your hard drive.emwearz wrote:When you reply, under the 'Post a reply' section you will notice a "Upload attachment" section....
Racketboy prefers pics not extend the margins. Plus your pic won't upload if the file size is too large.
You can reduce image size with this free PC program.

For Mac use iPhoto, Import photo then Export to reduce that image.
Also can be used to create your small custom Avatar Member image.

Re: Uploading a picture?
Here is another way.
go to---> photobucket.com and signup for free.
2: once finished signing up .... upload your pictures you have from your pc to that site.
3: go to that picture you just uploaded on that site and look for the links --- They should info on what you should copy and paste on forum so pictures show.
4: go to any forum or racketboy and just paste that link you copy from photobucket and your finished!
