Probably a bad cap on the board. Check this out:

My audio caps went bad and right after I replaced them the video caps died.

christoph wrote:I followed that thread and replaced the cap. Now the screen lights up white like its suppose to - but when I put in any games, it doesn't read them. It just stays white. Weak.

UPDATE: So I plugged a Turbo Vision into it and the video shows up just fine.. hmmm
- sound doesnt work at all, but i know how to fix that..

Any ideas?
My TG-16 does this too if the games are pushed in too far. I'm assuming that the handheld has a lock to hold cards in when powered up like the console. Slide in your game but only push it in to where the lock barely clears the card. I bet it will work then.

It is crazy how you need to be an electronics expert to use a Duo or Turbo Express. The Duo presents a whole new load of problems that can be a pain. Glad you got the Express up and running.
