It's bad enough that the cutscenes made little sense in relation to the actual game, the guy at the end basically tells you that you didn't kill your prime target and then has the balls to say "Are you ready? Let's begin." Seriously, wtf? Especially since it's possible that this game may never get a sequel

Don't tell me you played it for the story. I skipped those silly videos anyway.

But did you notice how the one actor (the prison reprieve boss, the first video) sounds just like Snake in the original PS1 Metal Gear Solid? That or was it an Infiniti car commercial.

So what are your favourite GAME OVER screens? I liked the one in Ecco DotF: Awesomely melancholy music against the stars backdrop felt mesmerising. I also liked the music to Shadow of the Beast 2's game over screen.

Doesn't Chrono Trigger give you the bad ending in its entirely upon a game over? What other games give bad endings depending on your progress in the game?

Crysis had a bad ending. It didn't resolve of the conflicts it threw you into.

The most depressing Game Over screens I have seen:

[Tales series of RPGs]: It just shows the line: "And they were never heard from again." That's just cold.

Cave Story: The music theme for the game over screen really makes you feel like a failure. It's really irritating and sad at the same time.

Banjo-Kazooie: Really creepy, and the odd part is, you also get the game over screen if you choose "Save and Quit" from the menu.
