Any way, when Titanic was out it was a phenomenon , I recall for few months the theater would be sold out, thats a miracle here, the biggest movie release at any time will only be sold out for couple of days.
But I know people who couldn't care less that Avatar is out, its impossible that gained more than the titanic, I am sure they are lying
Who saw Avatar in 3D?

Re: Who saw Avatar in 3D?
Tickets are a lot more expensive now than they were when Titanic came out. Avatar could probably out-gross Titanic with only, like 60% of the attendance Titanic got.kingmohd84 wrote: But I know people who couldn't care less that Avatar is out, its impossible that gained more than the titanic, I am sure they are lying

I agree with the author that 3D movies are not a great idea, but this part is kind of dumb:Pulsar_t wrote:http://gizmodo.com/5493832/the-movie-st ... ig-3d-scam
"They are not only optically poor but they take almost a full stop of light out of the image. That's almost half the amount of light!"
Of course they block out half of the light. They're polarized lenses viewing polarized images. That's how they work.
