I didn't feel like reading the whole thread, but...

DiscJuggler has a time-unlimited demo. In fact, the default restricts you to 700MB (the size of every CD-R I've seen) and minimum burn speed, exactly what you want for burning DC games. You simply download the trial, double click the .cdi, and burn (and say NO to fixing errors if it asks, that will mess up the file). It's as if DiscJuggler was made for burning DC games. STICK TO DISCJUGGLER! SAVE YOURSELF THE GRIEF! TRUST ME! I'VE BURNED DOZENS OF DISCS!

Except for when the game image is slightly larger than 700MB and you have to overburn.

I haven't come across any games that are over 700MB that didn't burn using the free version...

If you don't feel like bothering to see if someone already answered the question or read other people's posts, don't be surprised if people start ignoring your posts too.

Same here. I believe the "700MB" limit is really just a "one disc's worth of shit" limit.

The only game that I've had to make specific use of overburn with was Rayman 2, and it still plays fine.

I tried downloading Discjuggler several times and it just gets to the "You need to Reboot your system" and after I reboot nothing.

well, typically OPs read everything, if someone hasn't said something I said, the OP wins. I could say nothing and just leave everyone in the dark. Your call.

It was only one page, though.

@pepharytheworm: I've never had problems with it on every single computer I've ever owned. Maybe you just need to do some maintenance on your computer, Windows PCs get like that with stupid errors for no apparent reason. Time to format/re-install.

I hope Microsoft fixed this glaring issue with Windows 7. I've never had to reinstall the OS on my MBP. Same OS X since I installed Leopard on it the day it came out. My fiancée's MBP is running the same OS it came pre-installed with (OS 10.4) she's yet to have any problems aside from the optical port staying on and cutting the sound off (I plugged one of my toslink cables in and out and it fixed the problem).
