I am very interested, but worried about the lifespan of the cart. Can anyone tell me what type of memory they're using to store the game?

I'm not certain, but I'm 90% sure it's an EEPROM or other flashable memory chip. Supposedly flashable memory chips of that type are good for about 20 years, but many Atari 2600 games were of that type and are still fine. Given the nature of the game and the fact no corporate entity is looking over it, I can't imagine you would have much trouble finding someone willing to reflash your chip at minimal cost years down the road if you needed it. The components themselves should probably work indefinitely.

You can find the demo on the first post of this thread.

Interview with the developer here.

... and here is a funny video that shows how difficult the game is.

Enjoy! I know I've personally been checking Retrozone every day to see if its back in stock! I really hope I don't miss out on this one...

I'm a sad dude today. :(

I checked Retrozone to see if it was available today, and apparently they must have either sold out already today, or they just pushed the date back, but it's not going to be available again until the 18th.

I've been anxious to buy this too, but the 18th has come and gone, with no indication of when it will be available next (it still says the 18th).
Boo :(

It's available now for $29, but with no manual...It sounds like he expects more in, so I'm debating if I want it now, or if I should wait....hmm...

Awesome JFE2, thats a wicked score, I imagine in a few years when they are not producing it anymore, that bad boy is going to be hard as all hell to find.

I am in my own internal struggle over this...do I buy it now, or wait till he has manuals in stock and buy it then (risking the fact that it might sell out first).

Oh, what a terrible life I have if this is what I'm spending time worrying about :\
