You know, I think by that point, the kill screen is the best ending you're going to see. After 4-5 hours of Pac-Man, this is the winning screen, and it's all or nothin'.
My vote goes out to Heavy Rain. I was very pissed when it revealed who the killer was because it made me feel like shit for liking the character the whole game. :\ It was also too cliche of an ending.

I hated the 5th ending of Chrono Trigger, it was called nighttime or bedtime or something like that. It had no story to it, it was just a few random NPC's dancing around and sleeping as the credits roll. Totally not worth fighting lavos to get.

Agree
Killscreen = I just owned everything you had
Worst ending...snatcher, why the hell make a great story game...1 chapter when it def needs 2 chapters to wrap everything up. *sad so sad*
It's bad enough that the cutscenes made little sense in relation to the actual game, the guy at the end basically tells you that you didn't kill your prime target and then has the balls to say "Are you ready? Let's begin." Seriously, wtf? Especially since it's possible that this game may never get a sequel

Don't tell me you played it for the story. I skipped those silly videos anyway.
Well a recently-finished game that I can think of is FEAR 2. <spoiler>Alma's pregnancy proved to me how ridiculous the whole series was from the very start.</spoiler>

Of course not. But when I finally beat the last level, I expected a little more than that shit!
