Then why is the Sega Genesis there? The Genesis was a success, it was the Sega CD and 32X that fucked it.
And in the video the Sega Genesis has both a Sega CD and 32X attached to it.
Then it should be like Galaga, you have to destroy the 32X and Sega CD to free the Genesis.

but aren't you just going through the motions and not getting any idea of what's going on? I'm waiting for the fan translation personally. I hope it's not a drawn out level grinding RPG, I HATE that mess.

I recently read a memo released on 9-9-09 from the head of the translation team saying he had to take a break while he got a master's degree, but now he's picked it up again and it's moving along. I don't know how long it will be b/c I have no idea what translating it actually entails (apparently it's more than simply typing text). I'm not in a huge hurry, but glad to know it will be here eventually. All I really cared about was the shooter, so I'm a happy camper.

After you translate the text, you have to hack the game. THat's where the time consumption comes from.

that's what I said. "Apparently it takes more than going in the code and re-typing the dialogue." is another way to put it.
This is my supreme ignorance about coding, but I've always wondered what else would go into the process of editing dialogue than re-typing the characters -- do they have to type a bunch of code between every word or letter or something, then some other stuff for spacing and the like, or is it something even more complicated than that?
