I personally love USPS. Nothing can compete with their prices on sending a single game. I've had hundreds of purchases/sales without a single problem. I've even sold cell phone plastic face plates that are fragile as hell and sent them first class. I actually think USPS is way cheaper than it should be. That's part of the reason they're losing all kinds of money.

and part of the reason they dont care or mind throwing a package. The reason first class didnt break anything is due to an extremly low weight limit that limits that ANYTHING could possibly be broken.

I watched one lady take 3 of my packages and chuck them into the package bin last time Iw as there I about smacked a bitch. Never again.
Yep, I know im the one ya love to hate.

A couple dozen shipped with UPS and Fed-Ex. Several lost and several broken.

Your mileage may vary. Horror stories about every shipping service from any person you ask. It's because they all have employees. Employees who steal, lie, cheat and are just plain lazy sometimes. It's the way the world turns unfortunately.

I didnt see this post, but it is true I suspose. I just cant understand how I can goto my ups stores...ANY in my area and ENVER have a problem, goto usps within 20 miles around me depending on where I am at when I ship...and something happen at every other one. Maybe richmond just blows.

I live in an apartment building, and have never had any problems not receiving a package. And in all the years of using the USPS, I've only had one thing I sent get lost, and I've never sent/received anything that was badly damaged by the USPS. So I guess it really just depends on the individual's experiences, because I have heard plenty of horror stories about the USPS.

I have had USPS mangle a package. I really hate how horribly inconvenient they have made it to mail anything Priority mail without mailing it flat-rate. Most post offices no longer carry Priority Mailers except for the flat-rate ones, which is ridiculous.

Once, I wanted to mail something to my wife using priority mail. I had to buy a gift-box because they didn't have any non-flat-rate boxes available. I then had to pay the priority mail shipping charge. Finally, the package arrived in Atlanta. They left my wife a note to pick the package up at the post office, so she had to go stand in line. When she got it, it had a huge hole in it. The lady just laughed and said, "what happened here?" They didn't make any attempt to make it right. What a load of crap. I now avoid the USPS whenever possible.

Also, they're a government-granted monopoly. I don't want to support crap like that.

This is how ALL of them are around me. They have all the standard flat rate boxs...NOTHING MORE. They are extremly rude, and dont handle ANY package like it should be. "is this fragile"...yes...*stamp stamp stamp...TOSS!*...wtf...why ask me if its fragile if your going to just throw it like its something your taking to the dump?

I have a friend who works in the UPS hub in Columbus Georgia. I have sat there and watched them work. They literally throw everything off the big rig truck down a sliding ramp and then throw them in bins. I have watched things fall off the ramp , land on the ramp from 10 feet away, and been thrown in the bins from 20 feet away.

Seriously guys it's like that with ALL the major shipping companies. None are really better than any other, just some areas might have better service than others or more conscientious employees.

If something is fragile, pack it well. No package is EVER handled with care.
