N64 replacement thumbsticks - Ebay

Post by Hobie-wan »

Not my auction, but could be useful to someone fixing a lot of N64 controllers.

Also a single one with a cord.

well, for anyone just wanting to ditch the grindy optical stick of the official N64 pad, Madcatz made an AWESOME 3rd party controller with a proper potentiometer-based stick (like you would find on a PS2/PS3 XBOX/360). The D-pad is also alot better with a 6-button Genesis style pad rather than that crappy flat thumb raping Nintendo d-pad crap.

I'm sure people are well aware of the issues with 1st party sticks and the 3rd party alternatives. I was simply giving information for anyone that likes/wants to fix official controllers as replacements are scarce. I was being potentially helpful, no need to be all negative. :?

Good heads up, thanks!

Little pricey but there is a make offer button. They are hard to come by, good to link this guy in case he can sell sticks individually later.

Seller Bookmarked.

I have purchased some of these replacement sticks and they work great! So if you are in the mood for long hours of Mario Kart of Zelda, get these! Old, worn out sticks just suck.
