Which gaming magazine is the best right now?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Which gaming magazine is the best right now?

Post by wakeup »

I'm thinking of subscribing to one since some times call for a good magazine to pass the time (eg. when I don't want to look at a monitor). Anyone subscribing to one?

The best info on games is on the web, not in magazines. Don't waste your money.

"Play" is probably one of the best gaming magazines out there; it has a genuine hardcore gaming focus, and is one of the least-biased magazines out there [unlike Game Informer, which is not so much a game magazine as it is overpriced and uncomfortable toilet paper].

I'm just treating them like newspaper. News is almost realtime on the web but I still enjoy reading newspaper. I mean they're like ~$2.5 a book on subscription. Reviews, interviews and commentaries are always a good read.

You should try Retro Gamer, I've heard it is good.

It's like 3.5x more expensive than other ones though, for me at least :(
